Had been coming here for a while. Glad their sausage is available at Costco. Restaurant is hard to get to for anyone but locals, but well worth the effort. Ambiance is hard to beat, on a literal island. Staff is great and so are most of their patrons. Do recommend.

Sadly I was there yesterday and it's gone. So disappointing! I moved to Washington and come down yearly for business. There 2 restaurants I must eat at while here. Roma's in Tustin and Peter's restaurant Sabatino's. No more What happened?

You Know That You've Arrived When You Arrive Here! One Hundred Pounds and 60 Years Later, I finally had a pizza that came really close to my sense memory of eating pizza in The North End neighborhood of Massachusetts in the 1950's. Our wonderful, highly experienced waiter, from Southern Italy looked surprised when I asked him to add oregano to my basic, thin crust cheese pie. It turns out that he always uses oregano in the authentic Italian dishes he prepares for himself, family, and friends. All menu items, including their signature sausage appetizer, were way beyond my expectations! Service was friendly and welcoming. Felt like family were present. The sausage appetizer is not to be missed as is the gnocchi. Meatballs are delicious and the bread at the table disappeared quickly. Will be back - we typically go for special occasions but not necessary to stop by for a great meal. Parking is ample with close proximity to the restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

Sabatino's restaurant is always my go to for Italian food for the last 25 years. Must try their sausage, their specialty, I can never get enough! Amazing Bolognese, really everything is yummy. The servers Esther and India have been their from the beginning and take care of you like family. Its a hidden gem that people seek out. Its always been a treat to see Peter Sabatino the owner welcoming guests with his charismatic personality. I understand his son Jimmy has taken over the reigns and making some new positive additions that I'm looking forward to my next visit.

By far my favorite restaurant in the Newport area. Amazing atmosphere and service. Sizzling Sausage Platter is a must for a starter for the table. Lots of options and everything has always been great.

I enjoyed an excellent early dinner here today! It was my first time dining here I don't think I would have found it on my own it's a little hidden away with in the shipyard, Condo's and a private community. For starters we ordered the spicy sausage and Caesar salad. First bite of my salad was fireworks! I could instantly taste homemade dressing so much flavor I could taste the anchovies and lemon etc.. the salad is not piled high with cheese and croutons like your typical salad but it's even better than your typical salad it's a real winner. Spicy sausage was excellent it was so full of flavor you could really taste the layers of spices and goat cheese with a little kick even better when accompanied with fresh hot out the oven bread. Pizza was tasty n cheesy you could cut a slice and get that long stretched cheese from the plate to the pizza pie. We also ordered a meatball sandwich and slice of cheese cake and Tiramisu. Everything was fantastic. I would totally recommend this place and will be a repeat customer myself too.

I really enjoy the dinner here with friends and family. There's also live music someday. Such a cute place to hang.
